Really great book, not planning on reading the rest of the series.

Great space military story.  A lot of characters that I liked, or thought I would like to follow die just about the time you start to want to know more.  It wasn’t too bad in the unbelievable area.

Why won’t I read the rest?  It was a great book, and reading the authors write ups on the rest of the books makes me not want to ruin this book.  You can see in this book how it is really easy for the author to go weird, and it looks like he does.  I wish I didn’t read the last 10 pages of this book because it moved it from 4.5 stars down to 4 just the “post credit sequence”.  This book is more SG-1 and it seems that the rest of the books will have an “Alien” undertone, not my style.
