I don’t know how to explain my reaction to this book.  As the ratings show I have mixed feelings.  The Characters, the world they are in, and the situations they are put through are very good.  But all through the book I felt disconnected.  I wasn’t able to get invested in the book.  I can not place my finger on what it was.  I really like military series books so I am surprised but I have no desire to read the other 2 books in the series.
