Nice series of books. The story was believable as well as time duration. There was a minor hidden story arc that I thought was stupid and brought down the rating by .5. Some of the actions of the bad guys was not really believable, meaning he gave up to easily or was easy on target. The MC seemed to either be full of himself or totally lacking self assurance which makes no sense with his up bringing and the 1st few chapters of him before the trip takes place.
